Privacy Policy — LeadDesk

Last updated: November 6, 2026

LeadDesk ("the tool") is operated by Roman Migunov. It lets service professionals ("you") connect a Thumbtack business account to manage incoming leads, send automatic replies, and keep CRM records. This policy explains what data the tool handles and how it is used. LeadDesk is independent and is not affiliated with Thumbtack, Inc.

Data we collect

We do not collect payment card details and we do not receive your Thumbtack password.

How data is used

Data received from Thumbtack is used only to provide the features you asked for: showing your leads, sending the replies you configured, and maintaining your CRM records. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, use it to build profiles of customers, or use it to contact customers on our own behalf. Lead and customer data belonging to one business is never shown to another business.

Automatic replies by message, SMS, and email

Auto-replies are sent only for leads that were sent to your business, and only using the templates and rules you set. Replies through Thumbtack Messages are sent through Thumbtack's API. If you enable SMS or email, replies use the contact details the customer provided with the lead. Every SMS reply supports opt-out (for example, replying STOP), and every email reply includes a way to opt out. When a customer opts out, LeadDesk stops sending automated messages to that contact. You can pause or disable auto-replies at any time.

Sharing

We share data only as needed to run the tool: with Thumbtack, through its API, to read leads and send messages you authorized; with infrastructure and message-delivery providers that process data on our behalf (hosting, SMS, and email delivery) under confidentiality obligations; when required by law; or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you. We do not sell personal information.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the operator. No person reads your leads or messages unless you ask for support and give permission for specific data, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), or it is required by law.

Data retention and storage

Tokens, leads, messages, and CRM records are kept while your Thumbtack account remains connected to LeadDesk. After you disconnect or request deletion, they are deleted as described below.

Revoking access and deleting your data

You can disconnect LeadDesk at any time from the tool or from your Thumbtack account settings. Once access is revoked, the tool can no longer read your leads or send messages on your behalf.

To have your data deleted, email roman.migunov@gmail.com from the address associated with your LeadDesk account. Stored tokens, leads, messages, and CRM records for that account will be deleted within 5 business days of your request or of access being revoked, and you will receive a confirmation by email. Customers whose information appears in a business's leads can send the same request to the same address.

Children

The tool is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
